Pineapple, mango and coconut water smoothie
Ideal post workout mix to recover energy if your training was a combination of weights and cardio. It can also work as a snack for those skinny people (who now write to me a lot), who want to gain weight/muscle mass. Recipe not suitable for diabetics. These 3 fruits are super healthy, a bomb of vitamins, minerals and healthy fat. Super refreshing, antioxidant, detoxifying and diuretic. Here I left you the recipe. Ingredients: 1/2 pineapple 1 ripe mango 1/2 glass of almond milk (optional) 1/2 glass of coconut water, 1/2 teaspoon of ground turmeric 1 teaspoon of lemon juice grated coconut (optional) Preparation: Peel the mango and pineapple, discard the central part of the pineapple because it is usually very hard and fibrous. Cut into small cubes and place in a freezer-safe bag or container. Freeze for at least one hour. If we leave it longer we will have to let it thaw a little when we take it out, or the fruit will be too hard. When we want to drink the smoothie, place the fruit in the glass of a blender or food processor. Shred lightly. Add the almond milk (optional, if we are looking to lose weight we can eliminate the mango and milk and try to see how it goes), the coconut water, and the lemon.
