Apple puree
APPLE PUREE: super useful companion, sweet and different. Give that sweet and different touch to your breakfasts accompanying oatmeal or even your whole wheat toast with turkey and cheese with: applesauce! Even at lunch you can add touches of puree to your chicken or turkey in each bite and it gives you that feeling of "dessert" that sometimes we need so much! Here I explain how to do it naturally: Ingredients: 6 green apples. 2 cups of water. 1 cinnamon stick. 1 teaspoon of lemon juice. 1 pinch of nutmeg. 1 pinch of cloves. Preparation: Wash and peel the apples. Cut into cubes. Place the apples in a pot of water, making sure they are well covered. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and lemon. Cook for 25 to 30 minutes, until the apples are cooked and soft. Remove from heat and remove the cinnamon stick. Let cool. Puree the apples in a food processor or blender until you get a puree consistency.
