Mushroom pate
MUSHROOM PATE: delicious dip as an appetizer. Ingredients: 3 cups of mushrooms 1 cup of chopped walnuts. ½ cup of ricotta. 3 tablespoons of parsley. ½ onion. 1 tablespoon of basil. Oregano, pepper and salt to taste. Preparation: Wash and chop the parsley and basil. Wash and chop the mushrooms and onion. Sauté the onion and mushrooms. In a bowl, mix the mushrooms with the onion, basil, ricotta, walnuts and parsley. Process. Correct flavor. Refrigerate for a few hours. Serve with sesame crackers, casabe or whole wheat bread. Perfect as an appetizer for weekend guests.
